Restaurant Review of OSHA Thai at 819 Valencia Street, San Francisco
OSHA Thai at 819 Valencia Street in San Francisco, California is a great restaurant. Now there are quite a few OSHA Thai restaurants around of the city of San Francisco, California. This is not the oldest or the newest, but it does have its own character that is very unique. As my wife and I are reviewing this restaurant, we are nostalgic for the original OSHA Thai in downtown San Francisco. OSHA Thai at 819 Valencia Street is a small restaurant, but if you go at the right time you will have no problem getting a seat. Their busiest times are Friday and Saturday nights at dinner. If you do plan to go during one of these times just make sure you make a reservation and call first. The servings of food are a good size portion for what you pay. This is, of course considering that we’re in San Francisco. This restaurant has an outstanding selection of salads. The wait staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is warm. This restaurant has interesting plastic chairs that are not that comfortable. They have mood lighting on the walls, and a slightly dark atmosphere. As for main dishes, there really are none that stand out to be incredibly exceptional. Many are very good, and not many are disappointing. Our suggestion is that you order an appetizer to split if you’re on a date, or a number of appetizers if you are with a group. Make sure to order a Thai iced tea, order your main courses, and don’t forget dessert.
